Schwarzenberg is actually always beautiful - but there is a special atmosphere during the Schubertiade: cellars are tidied up, various rooms turn into galleries, and taverns are awakened from their sleeping beauty.

As a result, the Gasthaus Krone also opens its doors for a few days and becomes a place of enjoyment again, as it was many decades ago.

A delegation from our kitchen crew then takes over the kitchen, with dishes like mushroom goulash with bread dumplings or veal butter schnitzel and mashed potatoes on the menu, along with a fine selection of wines. Jakob Handler, known to many from the “Alte Mühle,” takes care of the well-being of body and soul as a host with his team.

Because this is so well received and culinary diversity is an enrichment for us all, Jakob will welcome guests again from August 23 to 31 - in the parlors, the small Kronensaal, and the chestnut garden – the last of its kind in Schwarzenberg. Staying there is something truly special. We can only attest to that.

Stay a little longer. It might very well happen that at the neighboring table the artists, who were just on stage, end the evening...
