We won't keep you in hour-long debates about wine if you'd rather enjoy the moment and just have a glass or two. However, we do conduct hours of discussions in the background to offer not only attentive but also well thought-out service.
You won't find big menus in our historic dining rooms.
Dishes and drinks in sophisticated combinations await you at your table. However, if you're in the mood for a selection of local or Austrian classics you're also in the right place. Those who wish to discover the avantagarde at Hirschen have the chance. Those who wish to seek culinary comfort in childhood classics will feel right at home.
Our culinary offer is made up of two central elements. Two different worlds brought together.
On the one hand, you'll find our Chef's Choice, a carte blanche menu in four or six courses. We create this menu with the best ingredients from our region in Bregenzerwald and prepare them with modern culinary techniques to present to you our vision of progressive cuisine. On the other hand, you will always find local and Austrian classics on the à la carte menu. Because sometimes there is nothing better than Kässpätzle or a Wiener Schnitzel.

Our curiosity and passion for all things culinary extends to our wine list. You will find spritzy Grüner Veltliner from traditional austrian wineries besides ulfiltered natural wines from small vinyards all over the world. Discover new and suprising pairings for yourself.
For some it's the most important meal of the day. At Hotel Hirschen, it will definitely be a very relaxing one for you.
Jonathan Burger and his team serve well-established and unusual regional morning delights. If you're looking for salmon sandwhiches, go to the North Sea. Here in Bregenzerwald we have both young and matured cheeses, river fish, forests and meadows. And of course, "Riebel", a local breakfast specialty that will allow you to climb any mountain.
